Using Your Voice to Move Policy

Speaking on behalf of arts education at school board meetings is a critical tool in the advocate’s toolbox. By showing up and sharing your story, you can educate board members on the benefits of arts education while moving them to act through your passion and persuasion.

This workshop will give you an opportunity to link up your personal experiences with current issues facing arts education so that you can provide powerful, insightful, and targeted public comment when arts education issues need your support. No previous public speaking experience is necessary; we will provide you all the skills you’ll need to be a powerful advocate for change.
